・Northeastern University (Boston, USA), Ph.D. (Physics, 1995)
・神戸大学理学部助手（1995), 自然科学研究科助教授（2002）、理学研究科准教授（2007)

・音楽を聴くこと（クラシック、ジャズ、80's Hits、など）。学生時代は吹奏楽やオーケストラでフルートを吹いていました。
・しばらくランニングにはまっていましたが（マラソン自己ベスト3時間28分＠2017姫路城マラソン）、2017年に大けがをして以来ランニングは自粛中。最近は写真教室に通っています。）
・登山、スケートも好きでしたが、これもケガして以降自粛中。
